Clarice's Home Care Service, Inc. is privately owned and operated by Clarice Jones. Clarice's Home Care Service, Inc. has been providing home care services to the area since 1991. The most important services we provide are love and care. Some of the other services provided by Clarice's Home Care Services, Inc. include: making sure medications are taken on time and that the correct dosage of medications are taken, preparation of meal, assisting with personal hygiene and taking the client to medical appointments. In addition, the staff can do basic house cleaning, laundry, go grocery shopping and run errands. Our goal is to keep our clients in their home as long as possible. Although we require a minimum of twenty hours per week we can provide home care for you or your loved one up to twenty-four hours per day, seven days a week. Once we are notified we can usually begin care in the home within six to eight hours. When we are contacted we assess the situation to determine your needs. The charge for our service varies depending on yours or your loved ones individual needs. Unfortunately Medicare does not cover our service; however some individual insurance policies do cover our service. We would be more than happy to meet with you to evaluate your situation at no charge. Upon assessment, we have occasionally found skilled care to be needed. In cases where our clients require skilled health care, we work well alongside the skilled care agencies. The client may choose to select an agency on their own, they may be referred by their physicians, or we can provide a list of agencies that the client can choose from. Additionally, we can contact the agency of their choice for an evaluation. It then becomes the responsibility of that agency to determine whether the client would be eligible for skilled services.
